USEFUL NUMBERS TO CONTACT POLICE OR COUNCIL FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH ISSUES. PROVIDED BY DAVID COLYER 28/07/2016.

Obviously, everyone knows 999 for ongoing emergencies.

Otherwise, please try to call 101 to report issues.  Coordinators should mention, when the call is answered, that they are calling on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch.

I have spoken to Lee, in the 101 investigations dept, that we can call 999, if we witness an ongoing scenario of drug taking, ASB etc. If for example, we can see it going on from a window etc. In which case 999 could be called, so they might be in time to catch the offenders red handed.

Alternatively, we can email this address- imu.public@kent.pnn.police.uk

Together with any enclosures/photos etc, instead of phoning 101, if you can’t get a reply.

The number for Environmental safety is 01303 221888, which can be called between 17.00 pm to 08.00 a.m.. If they receive a minimum of 3 complaint calls, for the same incident, they can send out an officer to attend the scene. The matter can still be reported, even after the annoyance has stopped, (Mainly drunken behaviour, loud music). The day time number is 01303 858660
